Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy and the ultimate means by which God intends to reconcile with man. Jesus came to earth, lived among humanity, was crucified for our sins as a sinless sacrifice, and rose again on the 3rd day. Currently, Jesus is alive and seated in Heaven at the right hand of God the Father, and together with Him and the Holy Spirit, they make the Triune God (3 in 1).

One core message of Christianity is that there are not multiple ways to God and the divine, as believed by some, but only through Jesus Christ. Another core message of Christianity is that Salvation cannot be earned, it is a Gift freely given by Christ to those who would believe that He died for our sins, confess their sins, and accept Him as Lord and Savior. Christianity distilled into one key law is "love your neighbor as yourself". As part of the Great Commission, Christians are also called to share their faith and make disciples for Christ, and teach others to obey the commands of Christ. Christians believe that Jesus Christ after His death and Resurrection started the Church Age, after which during the Last Days Jesus will return to the Earth and claim it as His own.

While no-one is saved by works, if one is truly saved their life will start to reflect the holiness of Christ, where the old sins they used to enjoy and engage in become disgusting to them (true repentance). The Christian is saved by faith, not works, lest anyone should boast, but at the same time faith without works is dead, meaning that someone who is truly born again will take actions to walk out their salvation and mature in Christ, and reflect their salvation by bearing fruit in their lives.  Works are a product of your Salvation, not a prerequisite. The Christian journey is a marathon, not a sprint. (Hebrews 12:1). I would recommend reading the entirety of Hebrews 12 regarding this.

Please pray the following prayer if you wish to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and repent of your sins.

"Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life. Write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. Wash me clean. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That He died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. I believe that in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Savior and Lord and ask for Him to come into my life and reveal Himself to me in ways I could never imagine. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen."

I've done all this, what do I do next?

Begin to read the Bible seriously. If possible, be baptized by water. Find a group of believers and people who can lead you and nurture you in your faith. Pray to the Lord that you too may be baptized by the Holy Spirit, and if possible, pray to speak in tongues. Grow in your faith and seek the Lord Jesus. The Bible says that if you seek Him, you will find Him. Continue to grow spiritually and in your relationship with Him, and lead more disciples to Him, fulfilling the Great Commission and teaching them the ways of Jesus.

Christianity is not a religion. People may go to church, but it doesn't mean that Christianity is found in a church building.  It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and this relationship is borne out in the believer in their lives when they produce fruit. Pastors and others at church may deepen your walk with Christ, but no person or thing should be used as a substitute for Christ and a personal relationship with Him. As the pharisees found out, the furthest thing Jesus is is religion.
